TERMS AND CONDITIONS

​Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully prior to placing your order with Etch Interiors Ltd, Company Registration Number 10907904. Acceptance of your order will be on the understanding that you have read, fully understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.  If you require further clarification of any details therein, please contact using the details provided below.

OUR QUOTATION

Our quotation for supply of goods will be prepared based on agreement between yourself and our designer team and is valid for six months from the date of issue. Acceptance by means of a signed quotation or written confirmation (email is acceptable) is required before commencement of order.

 

CHANGES AND VARIATIONS

In the event that any changes or variations to the initial quotation are made then the following procedure must be adopted:

 

  • You will notify us in writing (or email) if you require any changes.  We will use all reasonable endeavors to accommodate these.  If we cannot, the original will be adhered to.  Any changes or variations instructed directly to any contractor will fall outside of the contact.

  • We will notify you of any costings for any changes or variations.  No additional work which increases the cost of the quotation will be undertaken until written confirmation has been received, accepting these additional costs. 

 

Every effort will be made to ensure the furniture shown on the Design Boards will be that installed in the Showhome, however, in order to meet installations deadlines, we may have to reselect items due to extended lead times, stocking issue or faulty or damaged items. We will attempt to match the new pieces as close as possible to the original. In this event we will notify you of these changes and no additional costs will be incurred. 

 

YOUR ORDER

If you choose to accept our quotation the goods will be placed on order upon receipt of your deposit.  If there are any aspects of this quotation that are unclear to you, they should be raised prior to acceptance. Although every effort is made by us to ensure recommended components are suitable, it is your responsibility to check with us that all details of your order are in accordance with your requirements. 

 

Please note that wallcoverings and lighting are supply only and should be fitted by your own contractors. Etch Interiors Ltd can provide suitable contractors if requested and additional costs are agreed prior to installation. Lighting and decorating schedules will be provided on acceptance of the order. We will not accept any responsibility for the schedules not being adhered to. Any additional costs due to fitting errors or damages will be passed onto yourselves. 

 

PAYMENT TERMS
A 30% deposit will be required on placing the order. The final balance will be required 30 days after the date of installation. If settlement does not take place within this time we reserve the right to charge an interest fee at the rate of 4% above the Bank of England Base Rate from the date the balance is due. Please note under no given circumstances shall any part of the 30% deposit be refundable.

 

INSTALLATION
We will contact you approximately one week prior to your advised Installation date to ensure the site is ready for the installation to take place. We require that the property is decorated, and that electrical pendants and flooring have been installed prior to our installation. Please ensure that suitable access is available. We require a minimum of 48 hours notice to rearrange an installation date, charges may be incurred if such notice is not given. Every effort will be made to deliver your goods on time, however under no circumstances will refunds be given if delays beyond our control are incurred. After our Installation, we recommend that you undertake a survey of the newly installed items to check for defects or damages. We will not be held responsible for any damaged goods, once the installation is complete.

 

SPECIFIATION AND COLOUR
All images shown on our design boards, and company literature are for guidance only and exact shades of wood, fabrics and other natural products cannot be guaranteed. For example, wood is a natural product and therefore slight movement and variation in colour and grain can occur.  Samples should be regarded as approximate representation only.

All fabrics are susceptible to fading if exposed to strong or natural light for prolonged periods. Silk, by its nature, is particularly susceptible and will fade if exposed to strong direct natural or artificial light for prolonged periods and therefore light proof linings should be requested. We are unable to accept liability for fading. We would also draw your attention to the fact that where fabrics are subject to variations in atmospheric conditions, shrinkage and/or dropping may occur in situ for which we cannot be held responsible.

USE OF INFORMATION
All scheme designs generated by us remain the property of Etch Interiors Ltd.

 

COMPLAINTS
Any grievances must be drawn to our attention immediately. We can accept no returns of any description due to customer measurement error.

 

DISPUTE RESOLUTION
The Law of England and Wales is the applicable law. If either party requires that any dispute or difference shall be referred to arbitration in accordance with this agreement then the requiring party shall give notice to the other to such effect and the dispute or difference is to the referred to arbitration in accordance with thisagreement.
